Lucy Hyslop is an award-winning Vancouver/London journalist. Former curator of The Assembly at Heckfield Place, U.K., chief sub-editor of the Telegraph Magazine and chief features editor of the Vancouver Sun, Lucy's freelance contributions include a Lunch with Lucy column at BCBusiness Magazine, Monocle24 radio shows, magazines such as Monocle, Montecristo, Telegraph and National Geographic Traveller, and articles for the Guardian, The Times, , Vancouver Sun/Postmedia, Globe and Mail, Vancouver Magazine, Hole & Corner, and Western Living. She also co-authored three Vancouver guidebooks (Time Out, Best Places, and the Rough Guide). A former co-director of Port Eliot Festival in the U.K., Lucy served on the board of DOXA, Vancouver's Documentary Film Festival and as a judge of the culture category of the 2011 Canadian Culinary Book Awards. ROSIE DAYKIN is the award-winning author of the bestselling Let Me Feed You, Butter Celebrates!, and Butter Baked Goods cookbooks. Rosie founded the bakery and gourmet food business Butter Baked Goods, which she ran for fourteen successful years. She sold Butter Baked Goods in 2021 when, in addition to writing this book, she returned to her original career as an interior designer whose work has been featured in publications internationally. This allows her just enough time to keep gardening on the side. Rosie lives in Vancouver with her husband, Paul, her wee old chihuahua, Pickle, and her three chickens.
