Join Karl Kim and Julie Puech as they present their newest interactive book, Dancing Shadows: Umbra's Halloween Party. Follow along as Umbra and her trusty sidekick monster, Pancake, plan for a secret Halloween gathering! Using a flashlight and the paper cutouts on each page of the book, young readers will cast shadows onto the book’s illustrations and interact with the characters and objects of the story.

About The Readers

Julie Puech is an award-winning graphic designer and creative developer who combines art and immersive technology to tell compelling stories. She likes to look for unique perspectives and visuals and translate those into her stories, poetry and illustrations. You can spot her work in Dancing Shadows: Umbra’s Halloween Party, the latest release from her studio, Red + Blue Stories.

Karl Kim is an award-winning creative technologist, with a passion for telling interactive stories that transcend media. He spends most of his time crafting hand-drawn animations and you can see his latest work in The Bear Who Touched The Northern Lights, an AR puzzle game with a choose-your-own-adventure storyline, published by his studio, Red + Blue Stories.
